Give A DAM (Donate A Motorcycle, aka DAM) is a South Dakota-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2024 to support children’s charities, veterans, and anti-human trafficking initiatives. The organization collects donated motorcycles and converts them into charitable funds through sales, raffles, and auctions.
Strategically located in the Black Hills, DAM leverages its proximity to major motorcycle events—especially the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally—to streamline intake and transport of donated motorcycles. These vehicles are sent to national auction houses creating multiple annual fundraising opportunities.
DAM addresses a critical gap in nonprofit fundraising capacity by offering a turnkey solution for donors and collectors. Through targeted travel, promotional events, and direct engagement with the motorcycle community, DAM aims to grow its donor base and expand its impact.

Donating is as easy as starting a motorcycle!
Ways you can donate:
1. You can contact our staff by email or phone or donate your bike on our online website, and arrangements will be made for picking it up in your locale.
2. Your bike can shipped to a Mecum Auction site. Any transportation costs and auction fees will be deducted from the auction sale price, along with reasonable administrative fees.
3. Alternatively, You could also have your local motorcycle dealer sell your bike with the proceeds going to Give-a-DAM.
4. You will experience the joy of being compassionate and kind hearted. And you can attend an Auction, or watch it online, and be acknowledged.
5. You will receive a very grateful thank you and a tax deduction receipt for your generosity. You can also attend an ever-enjoyable Donor Celebration Event and experience your commemorative legacy in person.
